Cornwall

Oim troiing to find Cornwall
And when Oi stop to ask
Oi gets the answer from Jethro and Denzil
And their ole mate Slipalong Trevask lol
Now Oi've come across the Tay at Plymouth Hoe
Saltash is on the other side
Then on to Lostwithiel and Looe and Bodinnick
Cos the door of Cornwall is open wide
Now there's Redruth Portloe and Tregony
Places to visit Oiím told
But if you're caught out off the Lizard
You moight come home with a cold lol
So itís down to Penryn and Falmouth
A Sailorís Harbour from dayís of old
Today used by the sailing fraternity
In the past maybe smugglers Oiím told
So we set sail and passed The Roseland Peninsular
Coverack & Cadgwith as well
Then we rounded the coast at the Lizard
Across Mountís Bay a stormís brewing I can tell
So itís back on the shore once again at Penzance
With a quick look around in Landís end
Wondering which post cards to send
Then itís north again to St Just- in- Penwith
And further still up to St Ives
The more rugged coast of Cornwall
Where lots of visitors interest thrives
St Agnes Head & Perranporth
With Newquay next along this coast
Sea and sand and lots of Surf
The reason Skiers come here the most
Trenance ,St Marryn & Trevose Point
Then up the river to Padstow weíll sail
And into that famous Restaurant
A tasty meal for ourselves we might avail
Now weíre up the road awhile to Wadebridge
From there we see the village of Rock
Not far down the road from St MInver
A quiet place to take stock
Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle
Then Crackington Haven & Cranbeak
And on once again to Widemouth & Bude
For Sea Surf & Sand Skiers seek
But thereís more to Cornwall than the seaside resorts
Thereís a lot of interest inland for you
For instance a quaint village called Delabole
And a working slate quarry there too
With tin mines at St. Agnes , Camborne and Redruth
Whilst in Cornwall itís really a ďmustĒ
Plenty of sites to choose from it seems
As well as St. Ives , Tregonning and St Just
Whilst travelling around if youíre hungry
Then a trip to the bakery youíll make
And sample the best of Cornish Pasties
Then taste their famous Saffron Cake
Your visit is now sadly ending
The hope is that Cornwall you now adore
Tonight before you leave for home
Why not hunt for The Beast on Bodmin Moor.
