True Courage requires, but 'One' Witness!

Midst solitude doth strength of spirit flow
Without display (as set upon one’s shelf)
Downplaying part when others seek to crow
Should they have cause to rise above own self
For if one feels the urge to flaunt brave deed
Twud be unworthy of ‘His’ helping hand
Confronting pride with long held simple creed
Helps draw the line (as 'He' once did) in sand
Whilst facing fear may leave no other choice
(Foreboding in its truest sense prevails)
Take heed of words from (so called) “inner voice”
That speaks in terms of hope when all else fails
Tho some lay claim to said ‘courageous act’
There is but ‘One’ - bears witness to the fact
