Hi all,
As some of you may know, my Debs found out last month that the damned cancer was back. Yesterday Debs was told that she will not make it. It is too soon to say how long she has but the guesstimate is about 6 months. We have told our kids in Australia so they are arranging flights home asap. I took Debs home to tell her family yesterday and we'll take things as they come.
I am hoping to meet up with Virginia (Dame Vera's daughter) and tell her my hopes for FLOW and how Dame Vera's name is critical to all I hope to achieve.
Not much else to add but I will keep you posted.
If any of you have experience of or know of successful alternative cancer treatments I would be most interested to hear about them, thanks.

The path of life it twists & turns We know not where or when I know you and Debs have found Life's rocky road again Just when each step may have seen to you both To be on the upward trend Fate has dealt another blow To make your hopes descend But Debs like you is a Soldier With a heart that's strong and true You'll ride the storm together And I know you'll see it through Although our meeting was purely by chance A heartfelt friendship has grown So I know the road you are now both treading Will not be on your own For friends you have so many And all have love and compassion to share Your health and welfare is paramount Embraced in their loving care Then with your Family there to share each thought To support Debs as only her children can Helped through these tricky times Mac By a loving Husband and true Military Man
God Bless you Both Shrubby |

Mac - lovely man and lovely Debs - oh how my heart aches at your 'sad news'. My love, support and dearest thoughts are with you both and Heather and Ian. So thankful I was able to share a laugh with you both after the poignancy of the Cardiff Castle readings. If you remember I said then 'I was not going anywhere' always here Mac, for FLOW and for you. Nigel expresses his thoughts for you both too, Love Jan xx |

I cannot think of words to say mac. I wish things were different but I don't have the power to change things for you and Debs. I would say enjoy your time together, make the most of the hours and treasure every minute. None of us know how long we have and maybe if we did we would do more with our lives.
My thoughts to you, Debs, your family and close friends. |

| I was so sorry to hear your sad news, Mac. But each single day is so precious. My first husband was given 3 months to live, but we had a wonderful 3 years against all expectations. Time to say 'I love you' every day. So miracles do sometimes happen. Thinking of you both. Sally xxxxxxx |

Mac and Debs If love and hope can be transmitted by the power of thought, the you will receive both in huge amounts from your other "family", members of Flow. Don |

Mack so sorry to hear of your bad news, I know how helpless you feel, as I to am facing this feeling of hopelessness (not as bad by no means as yours ad Debs) my wife was just told this week she in the final stages of chrippling arthuritis (not spelled right) and only has six months to a year before she will be confined to a wheelchair. May God bless you both and may you live life to it's fullest, and don't be mad at yourself for spening more time with her than doing some of the other things you normally do no one is going to get mad at you for that.
